These terms govern your use of this website and your engagement with the workshop services offered by Mekhala Watch. By making a booking or submitting an enquiry through this site, you agree to the conditions set out below. Please read them at your own pace before proceeding. If anything requires clarification, you are welcome to contact us at [email protected].

2. Workshop Services
The services described on this website are offered as stated. A brief description of each is provided below for reference. Prices shown are current at the time of publication and may be subject to adjustment; the confirmed price will always be communicated in writing before any work begins.
- Service Assessment Appointment (฿2,700) — A bench examination and written assessment. No repair work is undertaken during this appointment unless separately arranged.
- Caliber Refresh Service (฿6,100) — Full disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, and reassembly with timing regulation. Applies to watches in operational condition requiring periodic maintenance.
- Heritage Restoration with Source Document Research (฿7,800) — Bench restoration with reference research and a written findings folder. Intended for watches of historical interest, typically pre-1970.
The scope of each service is as described. Any additional work identified during assessment will be communicated and agreed upon separately before proceeding.
3. Appointments and Booking
Appointments are made by arrangement and confirmed in writing by the workshop. Submission of an enquiry through this website does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is only confirmed once you have received written confirmation from Mekhala Watch.
We ask that watches be brought to the workshop at the agreed appointment time. If you are unable to attend, please notify us with as much advance notice as possible so that the time can be made available to another client.
Workshop opening hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00–18:00, by appointment. The workshop is closed on Sundays, Mondays, and public holidays.
4. Submission and Collection of Watches
When a watch is submitted for service, a written receipt will be provided. This document records the piece, its apparent condition at the time of submission, and the agreed scope of work. Please retain this receipt, as it may be requested at the time of collection.
Watches are held on the premises under reasonable care. While we take every precaution, we are not able to accept liability for pre-existing conditions that were not identified at the time of submission and not recorded on the receipt.
Completed work will be held for collection for up to ninety days from the date of completion notice. After this period, the workshop reserves the right to apply a reasonable storage charge if the piece has not been collected.
5. Pricing and Payment
All prices are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of service work as described. Prices do not include the cost of any parts that may be required; where parts are needed, the workshop will communicate the cost separately before ordering.
Payment is due upon collection of the watch unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in writing. We accept cash and bank transfer. Further payment options may be confirmed at the time of booking.
If a service assessment concludes that no immediate work is recommended, the assessment fee remains due in full, as the time and expertise of the watchmaker have been engaged.
6. Scope of Work and Variations
The quoted price covers the service as described. If the workshop identifies work that falls outside the agreed scope — for example, a worn component requiring replacement, or a condition not apparent before disassembly — we will pause and communicate this to you before proceeding.
We will not carry out additional work or incur additional costs on your behalf without receiving your confirmation. You are welcome to decline any suggested additional work; in that case, the piece will be completed to the extent possible within the original scope and returned to you as agreed.
7. Limitation of Liability
Mekhala Watch takes reasonable care in all work undertaken. However, our liability for any loss, damage, or delay is limited to the value of the service fee paid for the relevant work. We are not liable for consequential or indirect loss of any kind.
We are not responsible for faults or failures arising from:
- Pre-existing damage or wear not disclosed or apparent at submission
- The natural deterioration of aged or fragile components
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Nothing in these terms affects any rights you may have under applicable Thai consumer protection law.
